DEC 30IBIS IS BACK

They promised they would return. John Castellano (the other Ibis design wizard) has returned to the market with the last model Ibis released just before closing their doors. The Castellano Designs Fango, formerly known as the Ripley softail, will now be called the Castellano Design Fango. The Fango features the same Castellano-inspired Flat-Plate Chainstays, and Critically Damped Elastomer that are found in Ibis’ best-selling products. The Fango softail is still made entirely out of aluminum. We can tell you that a Castellano softail doesn’t have dual suspension. Fangos have a 1-1/10 inch travel, which is more than many dual suspension designs. The bike is very, very good. We are currently working on a Fango. Keep reading the April issue to learn how Castellano creates a pivotless hinge from aluminum and who should buy the Fango.
