Luna Chix, a professional mountain biking team, has selected Ergon Components to supply handlebar grips.
Ergon grips provide a more comfortable connection between rider and machine. This results in less fatigue, greater control over technical terrain and ultimately, increased speed.
Dave McLaughlin (General Manager of the Luna Chix racing programs) stated that the Head Mechanic and Director Sportif received a few grips to use at the Sea Otter last season.
We were initially a bit sceptical about their appearance. We were astonished when they arrived on our bikes. The comfort will allow racers to ride faster, climb higher and descend more confidently.
SCIENTIFIC COMPONENT DESIGN
Anatomically designed contact surfaces provide 40% more support for the palm than traditional round grips. Ergon grips were developed by a team of international experts, including top hand ergonomists and engineers from Sweden. They have been used to win 24 Hour World Championship, TransAlp and Marathon races as well as Cross-Country and Cross-Country victories.
