Twenty-five of the nation’s most skilled bike handlers will challenge themselves to cliff hanging berms, 120 degree turns and death defying speeds. The 2.5-mile course will take the men to the top with the 2,000-foot drop through Tuna Canyon, Malibu, CA.

WHAT CAN I ACHIEVE?
Road racers don’t often see full face helmets, padding, or disc brakes. However, riders who want to wear permanent concrete makeup will need to be prepared. Traditional road bikes will still be used with drop bars and 700c wheels. Speed and fitness will be in harmony with the more corners than L’Alpe d’Huez.
A media reception will be held on Friday, November 4th. An after party will follow the event on Monday, Nov. 5.
Red Bull Road Rage will feature two race formats: Time Trials where individuals race against time; and Pack Race which is a boardercross-style format where the top 16 riders from Time Trial will be divided into four man heats and put it on the line.
The bracket will be divided into two heats. After three downhills, the fastest rider will win the title of fastest road descender.
